On 5th October 2025, the International Service Division organised MiGreat HealthServe 2.0 at Terusan Recreation Centre in celebration of World Mental Health Day. The team supported the event by assisting with games, registration, ushering and goodie bag distribution, serving a total of 1,232 migrant workers. The event was a meaningful opportunity to promote mental well-being and show appreciation for our migrant community.
On 10th October 2025, we partnered with TGH+ for a Funky Friday session that introduced children to fun, hands-on activities such as art and craft, food-making and STEM-based projects. In the Ping Pong Maze Making activity, beneficiaries explored basic STEM concepts like motion, balance and gravity while working together to design and complete their mazes. The session encouraged creativity, problem-solving and teamwork in a lively and engaging environment.
On 10th October 2025, the Professional Development Division kicked off their Startup Series with a Project Management Workshop that equipped participants with key skills in scope, scheduling, cost, risk and stakeholder management. The session also strengthened leadership, teamwork and critical thinking, helping participants apply project management tools and techniques with greater confidence.
On 11th October 2025, the Community Service Divison organised Serve With Your Heart Workshop to introduce Rotaractors to community engagement and social responsibility, fostering qualities like purposefulness, empathy, and humility. It aimed to build a strong culture of volunteerism within subcommittees while strengthening bonds to enhance teamwork for future projects.
On 11th October 2025, the Youth Development Division organised BFF Reading Odyssey to support low-income primary school students residing in Brickland by enhancing their literacy skills and fostering a love for reading through engaging, age-appropriate books. Led by Youth Development Division subcommittee members serving as positive role models, the activity also helps students build emotional intelligence and essential soft skills to boost their confidence and success both in school and beyond.
On 15th October 2025, the Publicity and Publications Division hosted a Digital Marketing Workshop led by Mrs. Celestine Lee Shi Ying. Participants learned digital marketing fundamentals, including social media and content strategy, and gained hands-on experience creating promotional materials to enhance their online presence and outreach.
On 16th October 2025, the Professional Development Division hosted their second workshop of the Startup Series, Pitching Workshop introduced participants to the purpose and importance of pitch decks in entrepreneurship and business presentations. It helped develop their skills in clearly communicating ideas and value propositions, while providing practical guidance on structuring and designing impactful pitch decks.
On 16th October 2025, the Business and Finance Division held a Sponsorship Workshop to equip subcommittee members with practical skills and knowledge in securing and managing sponsorships. The session covered key areas such as effective communication, email writing, negotiation techniques and professional relationship management. It also aimed to build a cohesive and capable team that can confidently approach potential sponsors and establish sustainable partnerships to support RACNTU’s future events.
On 18th October 2025, the Community Service Division launched their first Ah Gong Ah Ma event for this Rotary Year, providing members the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the elderly. The program fostered empathy, respect, and an unbiased mindset while helping participants develop life skills and gain hands-on community engagement experience.
In collaboration with TWC, the World Rotaract Week Division hosted an arts and crafts workshop on 31st October 2025 where participants enjoyed hands-on experience creating personalized Chenille stem art. The session encouraged creativity and self-expression while promoting kindness through donating the finished pieces to Persons with Intellectual Disability (PWID). This meaningful activity also supported participants’ well-being and community spirit.
