On 1st March, the Community Service Division in collaboration with Tzu Chi @ Nanyang organised Ah Gong Ah Ma 3.0. The event focused on promoting physical and also mental well-being among the seniors thorugh various activities like Sitting Zumba and Square Dance. It was a joyful and memorable day for everyone.
On 9th March, the International Service Division in collaboration with Red Cross Youth organised the MiGreat IAppreciate event that provides the migrant workers with essential financial literacy knowledge, emergency response training (DARE) and provide them mental wellness support. The fun interactive game booths provided them with a meaningful learning experience.
The Rotaract Club of Singapore, Rotaract Club of NTU, and Rotary Club of Singapore organised the Speaker Series Event that provided the participants with valuable career insights and networking opportunities. The event included expert sharing sessions and an interactive fireside chat. Through these activitie, the attendees gained guidance on navigating career challenges and building resilience. Participants also fostered meaningful connections with Rotarians across various industries.
On 15th March, the Club Service Division hosted Rotaract Club of NTU's second Bonding Day. Through this event, members from different divisions gathered together for an exciting day full of interactive group games designed to foster teamwork and strengthen the bonds within our members.
On 19th and 20th March, the Business and Finance Division in collaboration with NTU Investment Interactive Club, organised a lively carnival-style booth included with interactive games and informational poster to promote financial literacy to the participants of the event.
On 22nd March, the Community Service Division in collaboration with NTU Investment Interactive Club organised the Enrich Elderly event to promote financial literacy to the seniors and equipping seniors with essential financial management skills. This initiative empowered the seniors to confidently safeguard their finances in today's digital age through various activities such as interactive games and role-playing.
On 27th March, the Special Projects Division in collaboration with Nanyang Arts Ensemble organised MINDS Pottery Painting Workshop, a creative workshop that engaged special needs beneficiaries in pottery painting. The participants decorated pottery pieces with vibrant colours and stickers, creating beautiful and meaningful artwork in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment.
On 29th March, the Community Service Division in collaboration with Tzu Chi @ Nanyang and Singapore Food Agency, hosted their fourth edition of the Ah Gong Ah Ma event to bring an engaging food safety workshop to our beloved elderly. The day was filled with various activities such as insightful sharing on food safety, a lively Bingo game, Lucky Dip, karaoke session and mass photo session.
On 29th March, the Youth Development Division in collaboration with Earthlink and TGH+, organised the Nature Guiding event. This event at Jurong Lake Garden introduced children to different kinds of flora and fauna. The tour was conducted by the Earthlink members while our volunteers from the Youth Development Division facilitated interactive activities to keep the children engaged during the event.
